MEFA’s counselors will be presenting their early college planning seminar, “Saving for College” on Thursday, September 29 at 6:30 PM. This free presentation will take place at the lower level of Dighton Town Hall. While targeted to parents of middle school-aged children, all are invited to attend.
Presenters will discuss:
*What courses kids should take in high school
*What parents and kids need to know now about admissions and financial aid
*What parents and kids can do now to be ready for college later
*How much parents should save and when a good time to start saving is
*How to handle the question: if I can’t save enough, should I bother saving at all???
Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will receive a free copy of MEFA’s “Guide to Early College Planning.” For more information, contact the library.
