Science on the Go: Forces and Energy

The Dighton Public Library invites all to explore the super powers of velocity, gravity, motion, friction and acceleration with the special forces of the Children’s Museum of Easton on Tuesday, July 28 at the Dighton Middle School Gymnasium, located at 1250 Somerset Avenue #R, in Dighton (Please enter through Center St).  Participants can select a session at 1:00 or at 2:00; each is 45 minutes long. fetch lab at Easton Children's MuseumThis program will test lift, drag and thrust while learning the science behind parachutes and helicopters with the help of instructors from the museum. They will bring their scientific wind tunnel to demonstrate how powerful these forces truly are. These Outreach programs are based on the popular PBS show FETCH!
