The Silk Road Comes to Dighton

Join Environmental Alchemist Rhonda M. Fazio at the Dighton Public Library on Wednesday, May 9 at 6:30 for her presentation, The Silk Road Comes to Dighton.

Rhonda will demonstrate how resources and materials from all over the world impacted economic development of the textile industry in America. How did it connect to Dighton? Where can we find remnants of it today?

Learn interesting history about Dighton, the people who lived here before us, the streets named after them and what we can learn from them. Rhonda will share her art of storytelling, with a demonstration of raw and processed materials. This program is suitable for all ages.
