History buffs are welcome to join us to meet Lawrence Cambria on Saturday, May 7 at 11:30 as he discusses his work on WWII, To Win the Lost War. Cambria joins a growing number of contemporary scholars who are making the same observations that he has in his research. He provides the reader with an analysis of the major turning points of the war in Europe to determine which has the best claim to being the most decisive ones. In doing so, he has separated popular myth of the war with the reality that haven’t been considered. Cambria also looks at America’s war experience and looks at aspects of WWII that are not as known to most Americans. Twelve years of research went in to Cambria’s book, and we know you will find him as fascinating as we did when we met him.
