The Traveling Book Discussion Group is meeting Thursday, October 5 at 7:00. The group will discuss Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
Hercule Poirot arrives in a small English village to what he hopes is a quiet life. However, a murder introduces Poirot to some of the village’s residents. While recruited to solve the murder, he meets a curious spinster, the local doctor, and other suspects with possible motives and mysterious relationships.
This novel is considered one of Agatha Christie’s best works, and it is also an award winner in the Crime fiction category.
