Kids Make History: Historic STEAM Toy is a Virtual Program. Join us Saturday, December 12, 2:00 – 3:00 in the Zoom Room!
The Old Colony History Museum returns to teach us how to make a historic STEAM toy, called a thaumatrope. A thaumatrope is an optical toy that was popular in the 19th century.
We will see how people throughout history learn about their world through toys and play with this hands-on activity.
This program is suitable for children, families and adults – anyone interested in history!
This program is made possible through CARES Act funding to Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
