Library Community Forum – April 24th

The Dighton Public Library invites you to attend a community forum on Thursday April 24th at 6:30 at Old Town Hall. Library Director Mark Procknik will give updates on the progress of the new Library’s renovations, and ADA Coordinator Jonathan Gale will also be on hand do discuss the town’s vision for making our new Library fully accessible and welcoming for by means of accessibility designs, plans, and future programming once the new Library opens. Mark and Jonathan will be seeking ideas for equipment, programming, and resources that our residents, friends, and patrons would like to consider as part of making the Library and its resources available to all who use the facility. As we have received a generous Rural Library disabilities grant from the American Library Association, we are committed to assuring accessibility for all. This community forum is free to attend, and no registration is required.

Our website keeps up to date progress reports on the new Library’s renovations, while our Facebook page and Newsletter also provide updates to anybody interested in following the building’s progress. If you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, please e-mail us at [email protected].
