The Dighton Public Library invites you to Massachusetts Serial Killers with local historian Christopher Daley on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 at Old Town Hall, 1111 Somerset Ave.
This two-part slideshow and lecture show how the FBI’s Behavior Analysis Unit worked to gain knowledge of a serial killer’s mind. The talk features the types and categories of serial killers, including a discussion on crime scene examinations.
The second part of the lecture will discuss three notorious Massachusetts serial killers: the “Boston Belfry Murderer,” Thomas Piper; the “Boston Strangler,” Albert DeSalvo; and the “Giggler,” Kenneth Hanson. The evening concludes with the audience creating a basic profile on the killer of a well-known, unsolved Massachusetts serial murder case.
All are welcome to attend the presentation. For more information, please contact the Dighton Public Library at 508-669-6421.
